KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia is offering its streamyx GradPack package, which targets college and university students, until Dec 31.

Subscribers will enjoy broadband service at a lower rate, as well as receive some free goodies, according to the telecommunications giant.

GradPack offers two Internet service packages � 384Kbps (kilobits per second) for RM50 a month or 1Mbps (megabit per second) for RM100 monthly.

The students who subscribe will get a free modem, and a streamyx Zone ID which grants them wireless access at more than 1,300 hotspots nationwide.

TM is also waiving its RM75 activation and RM88 installation fees for GradPack users.

Also, subscribers of the 1Mbps package will get access to music portal Hypptunes, video service HyppTV and the Rose Online Evolution massively multiplayer online role-playing game for three months.

In addition to that, they will get a TM�Manchester United special-edition T-shirt for free.

Students who want to subscribe to GradPack must present their student ID at any TMpoint, TMpoint Authorised Dealership (TAD) outlet, or TM authorised reseller nationwide.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Expand it and navigate to SYSTEM. Then navigate to CurrentControlSet. In it expand NetBT. Navigate to Parameters. Now in the right panel locate TransportBindName. Just double click it and delete the default value which currently is Devices.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> System --> CurrentControlSet --> NetBT --> Parameters --> TransportBindName

Now navigate again to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. In it locate Softwares. Now go to Microsoft and expand it. Locate Ole in it. Now in the right panel just locate the value EnableDCOM. The default value in would be Y. Double click it and make the default value N. Now just close Registry Editor and restart the machine. Connect to Internet and voila the net now no longer gets disconnected.

You could also have changed the values of NetBIOS but generally changing the values of these two parameters would eliminate the problem for all. You would not be required to change those values.

Follow this road to the first junction left (first asphalt road), go to the end. On your right side, you find the Turtle Breeding Station (no public transport).

Birds

I always thought that the next step in gaming would be virtual reality, though that jump may be implausible and smaller steps would need to be taken in between playing a game on TV with a controller and donning a headset and entering a virtual world. It seems like consoles are just tinkering with extra features like having to swing the controller like a tennis racket in order to play a sports game. Such features are interesting for a time, but I don't want to have to flail my arms about and hit innocent passers by every time I load up a game.

While I don't think the Wii is that great of a system and that Nintendo should be paying more respect to the older generations by offering quality games, I do give it credit for pushing technology onto gaming consoles. Without the Wii, who knows if companies like Sony and Microsoft would ever introduce motion sensing into their systems without Modem Rental from Nintendo.

Right now, the Wii is stuck in a technology limbo, ahead of PS3 and Xbox 360 in terms of system capabilities and motion sensing, but not quite at the level of virtual reality, where a new level of gaming would be defined. I have to hand it to Nintendo, their games aren't that great, but they are pioneering the advancements in gaming technology and I look forward to seeing what features are on the next console.

This is a report on what living in Singapore is like. It can also serve as a travel report for your next visit to Singapore. Hawker centers: if you want to eat the Singaporean way try one of the many hawker center where you can eat very cheaply.

Few cities are as green and luscious as Singapore. There are many places to go for a stroll and discover new trees and plants. Here are some of my favourites:

Singapore botanical gardens: beautiful big park with wonderful gardens
Bukit Timah nature reserve: for those that want to be in the jungle and have a more challenging walk
McRitchie nature reserve: lots of lovely and peaceful walks here.From here you can also do theTree Top Walkwhich gives you a different perspective on the Singapore's trees.
The Singapore zoo is a beautiful nature walk all by itself. The zoo grounds are wonderfully lush and of course it's fun to encounter some amazing animals along the way.

Lots of activities for the kids

Singapore has a lot of interesting activities for children

Forest adventure: a fun and challenging course across trees and over water. Children love this!
Sentosa Island: too many activities here. Some examples are: The luge, butterfly garden, laser show, trapeze, underwater world, dolphins, images of Singapore museum, beach, airlifts, dinosaur walk, etc. If you are traveling with kids then this would be the best place to stay.
Zoo and Night Safari: I believe that Singapore's zoo is one of the best (if not the best) zoo in the world. Both zoo and night safari are fantastic so that will be a tough choice to make (or you can just do both)
Wet and Wild and Jurong Swimming complex: fun places for swimming, complete with lazy rivers and slides
Jacob Ballas children's garden in the botanical gardens: a lovely free playground for the kids with water, cubby houses, slides check my internet speed (and shade for the parents to sit and chat). The botanical gardens also have a lot of ducks and fish that children love to feed.
East Coast Park: this is a park next to the sea, although you should not expect to do a lot of swimming here. People come here for walking, five star hotels kuala lumpur cycling but there are also lots of activities like a fair, watersports, sailing, taiqi, fishing etc.

Singapore is famous for its shopping which is the people's favorite pass time. There are so many malls here that I don't think I will ever be able to visit them all. Check these ones out:

General shopping: The most famous shopping street in Singapore is Orchard Road. Ngee Ann City is the home of Takashimaya, a big Japanese superstore. You will find many of the major brands here, and also the great book store Kinokuniya.You can walk from Ngee Ann City to Wisma Atria where there is a great variety of shops. Paragon is opposite Ngee Ann city and has a good variety of shops also. Another favorite is Singapore's newest mall Vivo City which is close to Sentosa.
Sports: for sport shoes and lots of other sports articles go to Queensway shopping centre. But my personal favorite, as many of my local sport friends will know, is theThe Velocity Sports Mall at Novena square for some great deals on Adidas clothes.
Computers and electronics: Lots of variety of electronics and computers at Sim Lim Square. Another good one (less messy) is Funan DigitaLife mall. A good place for bargaining for electronics on Orchard Road is Lucky Plaza.
Singaporean: for Chinese products head to the Yue Hwa store. Arab street is good for baskets, textiles, mats and dry goods. In the Tekka Centre you can buy gold, (Muslim) food and clothes.
Children: The Forum shopping mall tends to be focused on children but it is very expensive.

Close to Singapore

One of the great things of living in Singapore is that it is so close to a lot of other interesting places and you can take advantage of that as a visitor too. Malaysia, Indonesia (Bali), Thailand and other interesting countries are only a few hours away. So if you would like to visit Singapore but still would like some relaxing days on a nice beach then you can combine it with a tropical beach in one of those countries. The closest to Singapore is Bintan Island which is a small Island in Indonesia. It's very easy to get there from Singapore with a 40 min trip by ferry.

An old market broadband modem and the county town of Buckinghamshire in England, Aylesbury has a history going back to the times of the Anglo Saxons. Starting out as an Iron Age hillfort (remains were found in the town centre in 1985), it later became the Saxon village of 'Aegel's Burg' and developed into a significant market town for the surrounding region.

Aylesbury later became a place of pilgrimage, being the burial place of Saint Osyth, a female English saint who was the daughter of the pagan King Penda of Mercia, her shrine attracted pilgrims from far and wide, until 1500 when the bones were removed and buried in secret by a papal decree.

The oldest church in the town, Saint Mary's was probably built on the site of an earlier Saxon crypt, it still stands in a prominent position overlooking the town, some of the oldest surviving parts of Aylesbury can be found in the area around the church.

The Domesday Book of 1086 cited Aylesbury as a 'royal manor', and it later became home to the Guild of Saint Mary, a religious group, founded by the Archbishop of York.

The title of 'County town of Buckinghamshire' (formerly held by Buckingham), was bestowed on Aylesbury by Henry VIII in 1529, a ploy by him to impress Thomas Boleyn, whose daughter (Anne) he wanted to adsl and broadband and who at that time owned Aylesbury Manor.

Aylesbury had some significance during the Civil War (1642-1651), when it stood with Parliament. The famous battle outside the town, at Holman's Bridge (on the Buckingham Road), saw the Royalists defeated and retreating, despite having vastly superior forces.
